MAHLE presents four world premieres at Automechanika Frankfurt 2026
MAHLE Lifecycle and Mobility presented four world premieres at Automechanika Frankfurt 2026 under the theme “Your Growth. Our Expertise.” The launches span digital workshop support, climate and thermal management, air conditioning service and cabin filtration.
At the centre of MAHLE’s showcase was the new Workshop Portal, which brings technical information, expert knowledge and digital services together for independent workshops. MAHLE also introduced its Climate Expert workshop concept, a redesigned generation of ArcticPRO® A/C service units and the CareMetix® Natural cabin air filter.
“Our new workshop ecosystem is designed to facilitate the transformation from today’s traditional repair shops into the digital mobility service centres of tomorrow,” said Philipp Grosse Kleimann, Member of the MAHLE Management Committee and Head of MAHLE Lifecycle and Mobility. “In line with this year’s trade fair motto ‘Your Growth. Our Expertise.’, we empower distributors and workshops with the right tools to increase productivity, unlock new business opportunities, and achieve sustainable growth.”
World Premiere 1: MAHLE Workshop Portal
The new MAHLE Workshop Portal brings together information, training, services and expert knowledge for technicians, service advisors and workshop owners. Its integrated ticketing system allows users to send diagnostic and repair queries directly to MAHLE experts.
The portal also includes technical documentation, webinars, industry updates and marketing materials. MIA (MAHLE Intelligent Assistant) supports research and product searches, while a bonus programme rewards training activities, portal use and product purchases. The platform can be accessed on smartphones, tablets and desktop devices.
World Premiere 2: MAHLE Climate Expert workshop concept
MAHLE Climate Expert combines workshop equipment, technical knowledge, training and marketing support to help participating independent workshops position themselves as specialists in climate and thermal management.
The concept includes a dedicated online presence through which motorists can book services. Digital campaigns and search engine marketing are designed to increase workshop visibility and generate customer enquiries, while regular training helps technicians develop their expertise.
World Premiere 3: New generation of ArcticPRO® A/C service units
MAHLE unveiled a redesigned generation of ArcticPRO® A/C service units, available across four performance levels to suit different workshop sizes and requirements.
The new models support R134a, R1234yf, R444A and R456A refrigerants and feature fully automated, AI-assisted service processes. Touchscreens of up to 10 inches, guided operation and integrated audio and video tutorials are designed to make the units easier to use. Connectivity features and automatic software updates help keep them current.
World Premiere 4: CareMetix® Natural cabin air filter
The new CareMetix® Natural cabin air filter uses sheep’s wool as part of its filter medium. MAHLE says this reduces the product’s carbon footprint while maintaining filtration performance.
The filter is designed to remove particles and pollutants from incoming air and reduce volatile organic compounds, helping to improve air quality inside the vehicle. MAHLE says its design also reduces the use of materials that can contribute to microplastics.
“Our new cabin air filter with sheep’s wool demonstrates how MAHLE uses innovation to improve everyday life for people. The CareMetix® Natural enhances the comfort and well-being of people in the vehicle,” added Grosse Kleimann.
