Bee Cool Air Conditioning Services is helping to fuel a socially distanced car meet, presented by Petrolheadonism at the Sharnbrook, by sponsoring Petrolheadonism Finedon Fuel Festival, which is welcoming motorists to gather in a Covid-19 secure environment.

The festival will take place on Tuesday 21st July at 4.30pm and there will be an eclectic mix of classic, Americana, custom, vintage, modified and supercars.

With many shows being cancelled this year due to Covid-19, the organisers have put careful measures in place to enable them to operate socially distanced vehicle events on the Sharnbrook Hotel’s five-acre ex-cricket ground, offering a smooth carpet of grass for displaying all vehicles.

The event has attracted coverage from international TV network CNN, highlighting it as an example of how to put on an event during lockdown and giving widespread exposure to the Bee Cool brand.

Food, refreshments and trade stalls will be available to keep attendees entertained with on-site toilets also open.

David Fry, Bee Cool ACS Owner, said: “It’s great to be able to support local events during this difficult time and see the motoring world come together in a safe and secure environment so they can continue to do what they love best.”

Those interested must purchase tickets in advance in order to comply with all current Covid-19 Secure Guidelines, and all tickets purchased enters attendees into a 7.45pm prize draw.

Prizes offered by the festival’s sponsors include a first prize of Discs & Pads all-round for the winner’s vehicle by EBC Brakes.

Visitors can rest-assured that there will be hand sanitising stations throughout the site and dedicated social distancing marshals. The are encouraged to maintain a safe distance when parking and to adhere to the rules.

Tickets for the event can be purchased here.

The air-conditioning network is also sponsoring the Summer Season of Drive-In Cinema, which is also presented by Petrolheadonism at the Sharnbrook.

Car enthusiasts are encouraged to come along for an evening of pizza, drinks, pudding and popcorn while watching various car-inspired movies on an outdoor giant screen.

Those interested can register their interest and purchase tickets via Petrolheadonism at the Sharnbrook’s Facebook page.
