UFI Filters Group, a leading company in filtration and thermal management has signed up to electronic trading as the brand continues to grow and develop in the automotive aftermarket.

Supported by its UK warehouse in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, the filter specialist will be able to connect with more than 2000 motor factor and distributor buyer locations throughout the UK across a common trading platform.

PACT enables electronic communication between aftermarket suppliers and their motor factor customers by automating procedures such as stock enquiries and ordering, dispatch note and invoice transmission, all of which are seamlessly integrated at both ends of the process.

UFI Filters supplies a complete range of oil, air, cabin and fuel filters and has an offering of more than 3000 part numbers covering 96percent of the European car parc.

In recent months, UFI has boosted its sales team further and Karl Ridings, UK & Ireland Sales manager, says the move to electronic trading is part of the brand’s natural progression in the UK: “The UFI brand continues to grow in the UK and that growth is complemented by our UK warehouse and investment in electronic trading, which brings about efficiencies and enables motor factors to access our stock levels in an instant.”

Recently, PACT – a joint marketing initiative combining the TecAlliance Order Manager and Fourth eparts services – have announced the consolidation of sales and support services for the UK and Ireland, bringing about a simplified, local service delivery team, coordinated directly from the UK.

Mark Rudge, PACT Country Manager UK & Ireland, Business Unit Order Manager, said: “PACT continues to demonstrate its validity in the market by attracting high profile suppliers such as UFI Filters. It’s great to welcome them on board and we look forward to supporting UFI in delivering efficient scale-up as they further increase their customer footprint in the UK.”
