Intermotor Group has strengthened its international sales team with the appointment of Darren Van Gerrevink as Sales Representative for Oceania.
In his new role, Van Gerrevink will focus on expanding the Intermotor brand across the Oceania region, with a particular emphasis on Australia. His responsibilities include growing the company’s customer base, developing strong relationships with distributors and expanding the product offering for the region.
Van Gerrevink brings more than 30 years of experience in the industry to the role. He began his career as a technician in his family business before moving into the aftermarket, where he spent the past two decades with Premier Auto Trade, an importer and wholesaler of vehicle management products across Australia and New Zealand. During his time there, he held several senior positions, most recently serving as General Manager.
Speaking about his new role, Van Gerrevink said: “I’m excited to join Intermotor Group and help grow the brand across Australia and beyond. The company has an outstanding reputation for engineering excellence and high-quality manufacturing, and I’m looking forward to working with partners in the region to further expand our presence.”

A key focus for Van Gerrevink in the coming months will be building brand awareness across the region, including supporting Intermotor’s presence at the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Expo, where the company will exhibit for the first time in May.
