AutoAir revolutionises customer journey with PACT
Auto Air Gloucester, leading national supplier of automotive air-conditioning parts and consumables, has implemented PACT, the electronic trading initiative, streamlining its customer journey.
Formed in 2002, Auto Air Gloucester is the only independent supplier of automotive air conditioning parts in the UK. The company has adopted PACT – the joint sales and marketing initiative from Fourth and TecAlliance – which has enabled the company to enhance its ordering process and deliver improved customer service.
Clare Hodder, UK sales manager at Auto Air Gloucester, said: “Our rollout of PACT means we can communicate quickly and effectively with our motor factor customers.
“As a business we operate with seasonality. March through to September is a much busier time for us. With PACT, we no longer have to divert our own resource to respond to the seasonal peak in demand. Customers can easily check stock levels and order in parts using the platform, saving time and ruling out errors in the transaction,” Hodder comments.
Auto Air Gloucester’s commissioning has already been well received by the company’s customers and it is the efficiencies in time created by PACT that has revolutionised the customer experience.
Hodder said: “PACT has enabled our experienced sales team to become more attentive with bespoke enquiries, whilst actively engaging with customers. Our mission is to exceed our customer’s expectations, and as an ISO 9001 accredited company, they can be assured of quality products and service.”
PACT’s seamless connectivity between supplier and customer enables motor factors and suppliers to communicate and trade more effectively, with automated ordering processes set up with a business’s management system. There are more than 100 suppliers now on the platform, supplying over 2000 locations throughout the UK.
Mark Rudge, director of PACT, said: “Auto Air Gloucester has established itself is a key player in the automotive industry since its formation 20 years ago. It’s important that businesses stay agile to the changing needs of their customers and it’s great that the leading supplier of automotive air-conditioning parts nationally is investing in innovation to deliver exceptional customer service.”
