Melksham Motor Spares wins top industry award for best distributor

Melksham Motor Spares (MMS), one of the South West Region’s largest independent motor factors, has won the award for ‘Car Distributor of Excellence’ at the prestigious IAAF (Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation) Annual Award Ceremony 2018 held at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Milton Keynes on 6 December. 

The Wiltshire-based factor received the award in front of around 600 guests, with the result underlining MMS’ position as a leader in the industry. The outcome is particularly significant as the results were decided directly by aftermarket professionals with IAAF members voting for their preferred car distributor on IAAF’s website: www.iaaf.co.uk.

The win tops off what has been an extremely busy and successful year for MMS, as it celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2018. The motor factor was established in 1968 and has grown to become one of the most prominent businesses in the area. It now operates from two branches in Melksham and Frome, employing more than 80 members of staff and managing a fleet of 28 delivery vehicles.
