The Federation of Engine Remanufacturers (FER) returned to the NEC for the 2026 UK Garage and Bodyshop Event, welcoming a variety of visitors to the stand.
Held at the NEC Birmingham from June 3td-4th, this year’s event saw an 18% increase in visitors, with over 6,000 garage, bodyshop and detailing business owners and senior technicians attending the event.
FER made its debut at Automechanika Birmingham last year, exhibiting its extensive engine reconditioning expertise and training offering. Visitors to the stand were welcomed to explore the variety of services the federation offers its members.
Commenting on the event, Rod Bennett, Operations Manager at FER, said: “We were delighted to meet so many industry professionals at the UK Garage & Bodyshop Event this year. The event gave us a fantastic platform to highlight the value of Federation membership, connect with businesses from across the aftermarket, and discuss the key issues shaping the future of the industry.”
The UK Garage and Bodyshop Event has earned a reputation as one of the most highly anticipated aftermarket events on the calendar, offering professionals across all areas of the automotive industry the opportunity to speak directly with manufacturers and suppliers.
