Sealey goes live with PACT implementation
Leading tooling and equipment supplier, Jack Sealey Ltd, has implemented electronic trading via TecCom, enhancing the company’s ordering processes and providing real-time stock availability to customers.
Established in 1978, Sealey is one of the largest tool and equipment suppliers in the UK and recognised as a leading brand by automotive professionals and enthusiasts and houses a massive stockholding facility at its headquarters in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
Mark Rudge, director at PACT, said: “Sealey is a renowned and well-respected name in the retail sector of the automotive aftermarket that practically everyone in the industry will be familiar with. Their sales activity features numerous promotional offers, and the installation of our new automated ordering system has been developed to great lengths to ensure Sealey’s deals and promotions can be supported.”
The Sealey integration will offer customers the lowest price for the quantity ordered, and will consider multiple and assorted deals. If customers have any bespoke pricing or a current quotation for quantity, the system will also consider these and offer the lowest price available.
Tim Thompson, commercial director at Sealey, said: “In order to meet our strategic objectives and ensure that our promotional offers are more suitable for an automated digital process, we have looked to refine our existing and longstanding pricing and promotion methods. It’s following these updates that Sealey can move to install TecCom and finally benefit from a digital trading system.”
